Starting December 4 - Wednesday, everyone can then enjoy the exciting new flavors of Papa Diddi's Handcrafted Ice Cream. The Classic Queso de Bola, White Christmas, and Brazo de Mercedes, 3 new flavors that will surely make your holidays more special. Plus an additional Affogato for coffee lovers. So better try and enjoy it while it lasts, they're having it serve until 3 Kings only.

And as we know most Pinoys whether in higher, middle or lower range lifestyle include cakes in their Noche Buena or Media Noche tables, including our loved Brazo de Mercedes. Quezo de Bola in Birds Nest with Rice Krispies
Of all the 3 Christmas flavors this is my most favorite! 💯% #RECOMMENDED. Made from the famous Queso de Bola Filipino's served on Christmas and New Year. In our own home, Queso de Bola only makes it as a display to our table rather than consume it like we do with Christmas Ham. Sometimes it would even last for months inside the refrigerator. And that's the reason why the Queso de Bola flavor was created. Why not make our usual Queso de Bola more enjoyable and exciting to eat? Right? In this creamy with a little bit salty flavor for an Ice Cream plus the rice Krispies is really good and not "nakakaumay", we can really never go wrong. For sure you and your family can finish one gallon if you serve it on Christmas and New Year's Eve on the same night. 

Recommendation: Why not replace your usual Queso de Bola with this creamiest and amazingly delicious, cheesy and full of flavor Ice Cream from Papa Diddi's? I swear you'll never have to worry that it will just lapse on your fridge, cause one thing is for sure, it won't stay in your fridge for so long😉.

Well, let us tell you what, around the busy and expensive highway of Katipunan lies a dessert haven and cafe shop in one, who offers not just super delicious desserts but way less expensive food and desserts specializing in Macaron.

So what is a Macaron? Macaron or French Macaroon is a sweet meringue-based confection made with egg white, icing sugar, granulated sugar, almond meal, and food coloring (ct: Wikipedia). Isn't it nice to eat something as colorful, as creative and as tasteful as this macaron?

Macarose 

Location and Place. Macarose is conveniently located right next to Ateneo De Manila University in Katipunan Quezon City's GATE 1. They have a parking area in front of the store and more parking space in the back area, to reach the parking space at the back take the first right turn after taking the u-turn coming from the North.

The place is very clean and cozy. You will have that relaxing feel once you stepped inside this cafe. Macarose welcomes its customers with it's homey and Christmas ambiance, ready for your next holiday get together with friends and families. 

The place is also good for meetings and gathering with your colleagues. Aside from customers' daily visit, Macarose also accepts functions, where you can reserve the whole place for seminars or company meetings, reunions, and any celebrations, for sure Macarose will be more willing to accept your inquiries and reservations. Food and Variety. Sweet tooth? Dessert Lover? Cafe Lover? This place is for you! Macarose has more desserts than one could ever wish for. From different flavors of their specialty dessert - French Macaron, to crinkles, cakes, cookies, bars, and brownies, name it they'll have it. They also do personalize cakes and macaron tower for every celebration, and for sure your party will stand out when you have Macarose designed cakes and macaron tower.

Aside from desserts, they also serve sandwiches, pasta, and rice meals. And one of their specialties is this good,  very good actually, Macarose special Lasagna, who only uses Sirloin for the meat of this pasta. Tender, soft and well-cooked meat that is easy to chew, with Al dente pasta that will make you say "c’est délicieux".

And of course, what is a cafe without a coffee right? But aside from coffee varieties, they also have fresh fruit shakes, non-coffee drinks, and Frappes, different kinds of drinks for different customers.
Our recommendations will be the Strawberry Fruit Shake and the Mocha Java Frappe.
The Strawberry Fruit Shake is the best and has the freshest strawberry your Strawberry shake could ever have, take note that they used only the freshest strawberry and not just powder flavoring for their fruit shakes.
While the Mocha Java Frappe has the chocolatiest frappe I have ever tasted. It is so rich and yummy, that I can finish 2 of it in one sitting, that's how I love this Frappe.

Price and Value for Money. I've previously bought different Macaron in different bakeshops around the Metro and as far as I can remember the most expensive Macaron I've bought was around 150 and that was a few years ago, I only bought one then and it didn't give me the satisfaction I wanted for the price I paid. I've even bought a Macaron worth around 60pesos thought I've already had the best deal but I was wrong, as the 1st bite was just gone as it is as it started to break into small pieces as in literally small pieces and were not even able to enjoy it, sad that we've bought a lot for nothing😔.
Glad that we already found Macarose, because aside from their freshly baked every day and best-tasting macaron, Macarose offers the most affordable and really worth your money macaron. Yes, it is along Katipunan where expensive restos are circulating the area, but Macarose finds the way to offer affordable desserts where students and budgetarian can indulge in their favorite sweet treats without breaking the bank.
But being affordable doesn't necessarily mean it is less the taste and less the yum, with Macarose, value for your money is being considered. And you'll definitely get the taste you've ever wanted, not just the taste you've expected.

Service. From the owner to the cooks, the baker, the cashier, and the server, Macarose stands out. They have the most adorable and amazingly sweet and approachable owner Madam Rosemarie, who cares for her people so much and treats them as her own family. No doubt, the service at Macarose is beyond expected. You will feel how the Mam Rosemarie handles and treated her staff because the staff or crew pays it forward to their customers. You will feel accepted and very much welcome here.

5 💗💗💗💗💗 are not enough for Macarose, this cafe deserves more. They've exceeded our expectations and we won't just come back for the food, but for the people as well.
We personally, recommend Macarose to everyone longing and looking for a fresh cafe experience with a french vibe but with a Pinoy heart.
